Launched Nature-Inspired Odor Control Technology
One of the year’s standout innovations was the launch of Freshology™, an odor control technology inspired by nature*.
Designed for textiles, Freshology neutralizes four key odorants without using heavy metals, offering longer-lasting freshness in everyday wear, intimate garments, and activewear.
This product's early compliance with China’s GB/T 33610 standard makes it a crucial solution for businesses aiming to stay ahead of evolving regulatory requirements. Freshology not only meets growing demands for eco-friendly solutions but also serves as a cutting-edge alternative in the global textile market.
Strengthening Testing Capabilities: The Lab Center of Excellence
In 2024, we took significant steps to enhance our testing capabilities by expanding our Lab Center of Excellence. This expansion consolidates and improves our testing capacity to better support our increasing customer needs. Over the year, we completed 50,000+ tests, including a remarkable 30,000+ mold identification tests—a 20% increase from 2023.
Our commitment to scientific precision was further validated when our lab received ISO 17025 reaccreditation, ensuring we maintain the highest standards in testing. Additionally, we developed six new analytical test methods and integrated two new microbiology methods, reinforcing our position as a leader in research-driven solutions.
Celebrating Employee Dedication and Growth
At Microban, we believe our employees are our greatest asset. In 2024, we celebrated the milestone anniversaries of several employee-owners, including eight colleagues reaching five years of service, two hitting 10 years, and one celebrating 15 years. These milestones reflect the dedication and passion that drive our success.
We also welcomed 14 new employee-owners to our team and celebrated 10 internal promotions, underscoring our commitment to fostering talent and creating opportunities for growth within the company. Our people continue to be the foundation of our innovations and customer successes.
