Microban technology actively inhibits the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew on the surface of the product, keeping it cleaner between cleans.

How Does Microban Antimicrobial Technology Work?

Microban technology is incorporated into the manufacturing process of polymers and becomes a permanent and integrated part of the product. It does not wash or wear away and provides continuous product protection against odor and stain-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew for the lifetime of the product.

In addition to minimizing stains and bad smells, Microban antimicrobial protection has also demonstrated proficiency in improving the durability of plastics. This means that a treated plastic product is less likely to break or crack under recommended usage conditions, ultimately preserving its useful life and reducing the need for premature disposal of plastics.
